| Don't get me wrong, I had the best times in 'most' of the places I visited, but this site is dedicated to mainly the nasty little things that no glossy tourist brochure will tell you about and you are left finding this stuff out by yourselves when you are left scratching your sand fly bitten legs bloody because nobody told you to take tropical strength insect repellent with you when you visit the largest sand island of the world, desolate Fraser Island off Harvey Bay in Queensland Australia. Perhaps booking a room for the week in that gold rush country town called Rockhampton was a complete waste of time when a day would have done quite nicely. |
